DCC recommends streamlining retention of drug licences through ONDLS

The Drugs Consultative Committee (DCC) has recommended integrating drug licence retention fee payments with the Online National Drugs Licensing System (ONDLS), enabling automatic electronic acknowledgements and a searchable database. Separate retention certificates and repeated submission of documents should generally not be required unless specifically prescribed under the Drugs Rules, 1945. This could reduce regulatory paperwork and administrative burdens for drug licence holders and improve standardisation of licence retention processes across States.
