Fake medicine PIL sent to Centre for consideration by the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of India declined to entertain a petition seeking measures to tackle the manufacture and sale of fake medicines, including time-bound investigations, standard procedures for search and seizure, and faster forensic reports. Without examining the merits, the Court directed that a copy of the petition be forwarded to the regulatory authorities for consideration.
