Indian Council of Medical Research seeks proposals for centres to develop priority medical devices

ICMR has invited proposals to establish Centres for Advanced Research focused on developing priority medical devices and diagnostic technologies addressing identified healthcare needs. The initiative aims to accelerate indigenous development of affordable, accessible and clinically relevant technologies while strengthening India’s medical device ecosystem. Eligible institutions can now submit proposals covering multiple priority technologies, with applications open until November 15, 2026.
