NPPA mandates Form V and Annexure-I filing for anti-cancer drugs irrespective of MRP changes

The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has clarified that manufacturers of anti-cancer drugs covered by trade margin rationalisation must submit Form V and Annexure-I (Format for submission of revised MRP by the manufacturer) through the Integrated Pharmaceutical Database Management System (IPDMS) within seven days of publication of the Order, even if the maximum retail price (MRP) remains unchanged. The revised prices for the identified non-scheduled anti-cancer drugs will take effect from 9 November 2026. The clarification reinforces manufacturers’ reporting obligations under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013
