PPP model for MRI services in government hospitals to be introduced in Telangana

Telangana plans to introduce MRI services under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model across government hospitals within two years. Under the proposed arrangement, private operators will be responsible for installing, operating and maintaining MRI equipment.

The move aims to minimise service disruptions arising from equipment breakdowns and maintenance issues, while ensuring that patients referred by government doctors continue to receive MRI scans free of cost.
