“Energy drink” labelling restriction challenged before Delhi court

Beverage manufacturers have reportedly challenged FSSAI’s restriction on using “energy drink” and similar descriptions for high-caffeine beverages before the Delhi court. They contend that the direction was issued without prior notice and would have serious commercial consequences. The petitioners have sought to have the restriction set aside.
