NAB-CCM Releases White Paper on Strengthening Pharmaceutical Cold Chain Accountability

The National Accreditation Body for Cold Chain Management (NAB-CCM) has released a White Paper proposing stronger implementation of Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP) across India's pharmaceutical supply chain. The White paper among other things recommend establishing a multi-stakeholder Cold Chain Community Committee and Advisory Board, evaluating a standardised temperature-sensitive product indicator, and introducing documented end-to-end accountability across the distribution chain. The central objective is to ensure that medicines retain their quality in transit until they reach the patient.
